May 25th is the annual celebration of African independence and freedom. It commemorates the first union of African nations on Africa soil, which took place on May 25, 1963. 

On this May 25th, we celebrate those who came before us and a new cadre of thought leaders, activists, creatives and innovators pushing the envelope, shifting the narrative and reimagining what freedom and liberation looks like for African people globally. To commemorate the day, as well as amplify African voices, we’re collaborating with an amazing group of creators via the Clubhouse app. These all-stars curate some of Clubhouse’s most inspiring, insightful, and entertaining Africa-focused conversations.
