AFRICANXT 2023 THEME
Cooperate. Collaborate. Innovate. Unlocking Our Potential, Ensuring Africa’s Prosperity.
Insecurity, record high inflation, unemployment, social inequities, a climate crisis, and a global pandemic; Africa and the world more broadly are at a turning point. Our collective action in this moment is critical to ensuring Africa’s next chapter is a prosperous one.
Our challenges of today present an opportunity for us to collectively chart an ambitious path forward that ensures a sustainable future for Africa and all its citizens. AFRICANXT 2023 seeks to serve as point of convergence and catalyst for cooperation and solution focused dialogue. Programming will be curated to facilitate ideation and collaboration towards new approaches to addressing some of the continents most pressing issues.
Our ability to cooperate and collaborate across industries and borders will determine the impact of the innovations we put forward and their capacity to scale, ultimately transforming communities, companies, and countries throughout Africa and globally.
SESSION FORMATS
Panel
Typically featuring one moderator and up to four industry experts who represent different perspectives and opinions in a given area, panels make for lively discussions. All panels must include a female panelist.

Masterclass
Led by expert facilitators, master-classes provide in-depth learning experiences to attendees in a scaled down, “real talk” format. Think less ‘long lecture’ and more extended ‘Question & Answer’ session.

Skillshare
In-depth classroom style workshops focused on practical skill building, Skillshares help attendees gain more expertise in their particular area of interest. Skillshares are taught by advanced level professionals.

Book Reading
Interactive session, that enables authors and attendees to explore themes present in the author’s work. Book readings give attendees the rare opportunity to be in direct dialogue with notable authors to gain insights and garner best-practices.

Podcasters host their shows live in front of the AfricaNXT attendees. This live audience format allows for interactive discussions with host, guests and attendees.

Attendees are always looking for new ideas and an opportunity to create essential connections. Connect N Trek brings like-minds and future collaborators together in an unconventional and refreshing way.
